Thank you for choosing StringLocal. We strive to provide the best automated localization experience for iOS developers. However, we understand that sometimes things don't work out as expected.
Please read this policy carefully. This is the Refund Policy of StringLocal (operated by you/your company name).
1. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time directly from your dashboard or by contacting us.
- Effect of Cancellation: If you cancel your subscription, your access to premium features (such as Studio or Pro plan limits) will continue until the end of your current billing cycle.
- Renewal: After cancellation, your subscription will not renew automatically for the next cycle.
2. Refund Eligibility
Since StringLocal offers digital goods (software as a service) and immediate access to server resources (AI translation processing), we generally do not offer refunds for partial months or unused credits. However, we assess refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
We usually grant refunds in the following situations:
- Technical Issues: If a technical error prevented you from using the core features of the service (e.g., file processing failed repeatedly) and our support team could not resolve it.
- Billing Errors: If you were charged incorrectly or double-charged due to a system error.
- Accidental Purchase: If you request a refund within 48 hours of the initial purchase and have not used a significant amount of translation credits.
3. How to Request a Refund

Please include your account email address and the date of the transaction in your request. We aim to respond to all inquiries within 24-48 business hours.
4. Processing Time
If your refund is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment (credit card via Stripe).
You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies. Typically, this takes 5–10 business days for the funds to appear on your statement.
